I am using world quest tracker because angry world quests doesn’t seem to be working, I like it so far, but the yellow arrow that appears on the minimap when I have a quest highlighted disappears, couldn’t find an option to make it show the arrow. Thanks

There’s an update to Angry World Quests posted in the comments. It works perfectly until the author does an official update.

On twitch and Wowup it shows that the addon is up to dine but I cannot access the options in game. the addon is activated but when I type /awq nothing happens, , I must be missing something.

You have to download and install the updated version manually. The link is in the first comment at the bottom of the CurseForge page I linked above. It’s a GitHub link update by Mr_DenL I’ve been using it and it works perfectly.

So as of BFA the world quest addon we all love turned insanely retarded. Is there an addon that doesn´t force you to manually type in the ID number for each WQ every time?

I can’t help wondering why there is a need for an add-on to do World Quests, when the ones that require you to use a Group have a switch attached to them to open Premade…

You possibly would know if you disabled addons to confirm.

Yes; it may depend on how much add-on code you have running, but if a WQ needs you to be in a Group, there’s a green eye icon at the end of the Quest title, similar to the one that is in the UI to open Group Finder/RDF, etc.

I’m pretty certain the add-on in question is the one that Blizzard broke back in Legion when they made changes to how Gro

Can we have a better in-game system to form quick groups for world quests, please?

You can’t even start a group in questing for shadowlands…

Not being snarky, but why do you need a group for world quests?

The only ones you really need a group to finish, already have a lil green button to start or join one. But now with the gear everyone is in, even those are easily soloed.

I enjoy world quests more in a group. Even if the group isn’t interactive I, for some reason, enjoy it more.

I also like that you can tank/heal those groups.

Make the world feel more full as well.

There’s a LFG addon that allows you to quickly create and join groups for world quest, but from what I’ve seen no one uses it.

I have this but LFG addons are limited by how many people use them. An good in-game tool would be ideal.

I took a quick look at this before as this is something my brother said would be good but there are no way of checking what reputation a particular quest will reward ( as far as I remember anyway ).

However, there may be those with more extensive experience in this part of the api and can confirm one way or another.

Zone map and world quests

I’m looking for a way to show world quests on the zone map. Is there a way to do this either as a built in feature or with an addon?

They are already on the zone map as part of the Blizzard UI…

If you press shift+m it makes a smaller map of the regular map that you can move around. It can be set to only show in bg’s but I was hoping to be able to show world quests just so I can quickly see where the next closest one is.

Hmmm…I will research when I get home. I’m sure there’s some sort of solution. Not so used to separate addons since ElvUI generally covers UI addons for me.
