Our expert Peanut Butter Tour Guides will accept you behind the scenes. Spot how the finest Hi Oleic peanuts are roasted in Roasting Matilda, our 15-metre oven, then squished into Pic’s Peanut Butter - once for Crunchy, one-and-a-half times for Smoochy, and twice for Smooth. Take in the smell of fresh roasted peanuts and follow their journey from start to jar.

Pic's Peanut Butter World
Pic’s Peanut Butter World is a purpose-built destination for locals and visitors to Nelson and a must-do for lovers of peanut butter.
The building’s design is a physical expression of the Pic’s brand personality – vibrant and innovative.
Designed to cater for future growth and act as a showcase for the company, the 3500m² building houses a generous 500m² foyer featuring an attention-grabbing spiral staircase and public café, offices, and exhibition and tour mezzanine overlooking the working factory.
The building features a pair of gables, one recessed and solid for the loading canopy, and the other highly transparent with a glazed curtain wall on the street front, which acts as shop front.
The building purposely sits close to the street edge, directly interacting with the city.
Bold colour is used playfully throughout public and administrative spaces.

Pic's Peanut Butter is an all-natural, great-tasting spread. In fact, Kiwi's love it so much it is New Zealand's best-loved Peanut Butter.
If you want to see why, come visit us at Peanut Butter World and join a group of peanut butter enthusiasts from all around the world to hear the Pic's story, learn all about our peanuts and watch what goes on on the factory floor. During the tour, you will be able to taste your product from our very own peanut butter-making bike, get to poke through momentos, and read all about Pic''s adventures prior to Peanut Butter.
Pic's Peanut Butter Factory is open Monday to Friday with 3 tours running per day, 10:00am, 11:30am and 1:30pm. They can be pretty popular bookings are ESSENTIAL - www.picspeanutbutter.com/tours
There is also an on-site cafe open Monday to Friday 8:30-2:30.
