Best 725 Gear Score Life Staffs in the New World: Aeternum

If you're trying to shine as a Healer in New World: Aeternum, securing the top-tier Life Staffs is a must. We're talking about the Living Mind and Hopelight Life Staffs, both of which have a gear score of 725. These weapons are the key to dominating the endgame content and keeping your party alive. Let's take you step-by-step through how to craft these beauties, from crafting to collecting mats.

Crafting the 725 Gear Score Living Mind Life Staff

First up on the list is the Living Mind Life Staff: a healer's dream weapon. Head to Cutlass Keys, specifically the Well of Fortune in the settlement's bottom left corner. This is your crafting centre for elite equipment. Here's the process:

Craft the base version: At the Well of Fortune, look for Living Ghost. It'll cost you 750 Mystic Debloons to craft the 710 Gear Score version. This is your foundation, so get it done first.

Upgrade to 725: Back at the Well of Fortune, scroll to Apex Named Items under Weapons. To upgrade to 725 gear points, you'll need 1,250 Mystic Debloons, the 710 Living Ghost you crafted, a gold Cursed Coconut, 300 Dark Matter and a Star Meta

Advanced PvE Healer Build

Overview#

In this advanced healer build, we’re steering away from the traditional path to embrace a strategy perfect for speedrunning with a cohesive premade team. By reallocating points from FOC and CON into INT, this build prioritises enhancing your Void Blade’s damage output without completely abandoning your healing duties. This shift means you’ll contribute more significantly to the team’s damage output while maintaining essential healing support. It’s a nuanced approach that requires adept skill management and situational awareness, making you a versatile and invaluable team member.

Adopting this build involves a deliberate trade-off, sacrificing some durability and healing potency for increased damage. It’s designed for those who enjoy an active role in both the team’s DPS as well as being responsible for keeping your team alive and dealing damage, offering a fresh perspective on the healer’s role in group dynamics. While this build might push you out of your comfort zone, it promises a rewarding experience for those willing to master its complexities. Per

It's absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥, no better way to put it.

Pretty much all obtainable armor/jewelry that can hit 725 has magnify, so build diversity has been ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pretty badly. The only way I know how to get 725 items with regular attributes is through the well of fortune, but the PvP zone is awful for anyone who doesn't enjoy PvP. Dude just followed me 500 meters, ran around a tree to hide when I almost killed him, and then killed me. You lose an hour of progress in a zone you don't want to do in the first place, because the devs felt a need to force us to do this bs.

You need to farm 2500 Mystic Doubloons to get a 725 piece of jewelry from the well, and the small chests you come across give you around a dozen. NPCs usually only drop 1-2, if any at all, and the large chests drop like 50? This is an awful grind in the first place, why make us lose half our progress??? To make it even worse, chances are the piece of jewelry you just spent too long farming won't have the right perks anyway.

The only 725 gear you can craft (as far as I know) with chosen perks is the Gorgon stuff. All the Gorgon stuff is stuck with magnify though, so that doesn't really help.
