Meta achievement: A World Awoken

Good for you. Not that I have anything to prove to you anyway.
It doesn’t change the fact that 4 weeks isn’t a long time in WoW.

Why are you hyperfocused on something that doesn’t matter for the discussion at hand.
4 weeks is not a long time in WoW. that’s all I have said. It has nothing to do with whether I have an achievement or not.
You don’t have to believe me, because you don’t matter to me. But I was trying to give OP some advice and encouragement to get on with the achievement.

Because you can’t say its quick and easy unless you’ve actually experienced it yourself. You can’t go around with the high and mighty demeanour of “I’ve done this, look at me” when in reality you’re just looking for clout.
Also thats not helping OP, thats setting unrealistic expectations based on zero experience.

But I have experienced it myself. My Armory profile clearly hasn’t updated, since I never log into this character.

Hi! Does anyone know if the A World Awoken achievement will remain even when TWW is released or will it disappear with the new expansion?

It should remain as all other meta achievements are still ingame as well.

It should be available to get but I don’t know if they will change the rewards like they did with Shadowlands.
Emberthal-magtheridon4
My suspicion is that this one will remain. but there has been no official word on it.
I would still recommend getting it finished now rather than waiting. It doesn’t take long, and once TWW comes out, you’ll be pre-occupied with that content.

The Meta achievement tends to stay, but previously the rewards from it were not obtainable after the next expansion lsunched.
This current one may be an exception of this rule, but I would say if you want Taivan you should finish it before TWW just in case they go with the usual meta formula.

One of the steps at a minimum takes 4 weeks to complete.

What do you have left to do in Dragonflight?

For World of Warcraft players, The War Within is nigh -- extremely nigh, in fact, with one week until the pre-patch and a little over a month to early access and the actual launch.

On the long journey to acquire your very own goodest boy Taivan as a mount, the Dragonscale Expedition -- as part of the achievement Wake Me Up, which is in turn part of Across the Isles -- will task you with taking A Legendary Album of photographs for the expedition catalogers.

How to complete the Into the Storm meta-achievement in Dragonflight — and get one step closer to your own Taivan mount

One of the heftiest Dragonflight meta-achievements that people trying to get their very own Taivan mount have to get through is Into the Storm.

Suggested Adjustment to A Planet Awoken
Meta achievements like A World Awoken are supposed to be lengthy, expansive goals for players to work towards but there are certainly a number of ‘problem’ achievements that are currently a little bit frustrating. I don’t really want to see these conditions removed but rather the ability to obtain them become more consistent or the ways you were intended to acquire them to actually function.
The first painpoint I’ve seen has been the ‘Storm Chaser’ achievement as you said yourself. At the start of the expansion, two of these storms were active at the matching time, but in subsequent updates it was reduced to only one. I imagine this was to help reduce the general map clutter as these events were now outdated and no longer were the ‘right’ thing to do for catchup. But ultimately this now means that there is an even heavier RNG component where it doesn’t really feel like you can just go out and undertake this, you need to hang around for the stars to align for you to go down and knock out the storm that’s ongoing. A potential transform could be to allow two storms to be active at once, as it was originally, or perhaps a fixed rotation could be considered.

I was wondering what people think of a thought I had on the “A World Awoken” achievement.
I believe they should make it similar to the Shadowlands achievement “Back from the Beyond” is now, where the legacy portion would exist that gives a title (Veilstrider) if you do it before the expansion ends, but you can still farm the achievement afterwards for the mount. Kind of gives a small prestige for those who were able to do it before the expansion ended.
So in this case, the “A World Awoken (Legacy)” Achievement would give a title and that would be unobtainable after the expansion ends, but the regular achieve to acquire the mount is still available.

Gives me something to work on that doesn’t involved the same 5 weekly quests. So I’m ok with it.

They could still include something like that. A few of the mounts still aren’t in the game yet from the meta achieves so it could just not be implemented yet.

Honestly, I thought the same thing. A limited time title, and a permanent mount would be a nice sweet spot between “you w
