Guinness world record for longest poop

Have you heard the one about the 32.5-inch turd?

Every so often my clinic puts on a rabies drive to raise money for a group such as the pre-veterinary club from a nearby college or the volunteers from a local animal shelter. We lower the cost of a rabies shot a whopping one dollar from what we normally charge at the clinic. Yes, one dollar.

Who do you think shows up for these events? Well, I'll tell you, it's three types of people: folks who don't have even one extra dollar, folks who want to save a little money while helping out a cause, and rich people who are too tight to part with even that one single dollar.

Regardless of which of those three types we're talking about, they all want to show up first. If the rabies drive starts at 10 a.m. and goes to 2 p.m., 100 people will show up at 10 and there won't be another soul after those 100 have passed through.

This day was no different. We started at 10 a.m. and there were 100 people standing in line across the parking lot of the vet clinic. Have you ever considered what might happen when those three types of humans, with the types of dogs that come with those types of humans, stand in line in sin

Michigan Woman’s Record-Breaking Poop In Bowling Alley Revealed

There is a load of stories about a female who broke the world register 26-foot long poo.  Do the stories pass the smell test?

Researching stories like 'the longest poop in the world' isn't the worst part of my position, but it's a solid #2.  Recently, someone sent me a TikTok telling the story of a woman in Michigan breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest poop.  She allegedly did so, publicly...in a Bloomfield Hills, Michigan bowling alley.  My curiosity got the best of me.  I guess you can say, I couldn't hold it anymore.  So, the research began.  I stepped into this article called 'Fun Poop Facts' from the Hello Tushy website that said this about the alleged rectum record,

The longest poop ever recorded was 26 feet. In 1995, a woman in Ann Arbor, Michigan worked in conjunction with nutritionists to eat a super-fiber-rich diet to set a world register for the longest single excrement ever recorded.

After wading thru the many videos and social media posts about this claim in the septic tank that we call the internet, I was ab

Was the World's Longest Human Poop 26 Feet Long?

Claim:

A woman set a world record in 1995 for the longest human poop at 26 feet in length.

A seemingly factual fecal tidbit concerning the world's longest human poop has been circulating on social media for more than a decade. In 1995, the rumor holds, a woman named Michelle Hines set a world record when she produced a 26-foot long piece of excrement down the length of a bowling alley.

This curious case of an accomplished colon received renewed attention in March 2021 when it was shared with cheeky comments celebrating women's history month:

While this is a genuine screenshot of the search results for "world record longest poop," the incident this image describes is a hoax. This woman did not produce a 26-foot-long piece of poop in a bowling alley.

There are a few ways to tell that this story is false. For starters, there is no entry in the Guinness Book of World Records for a record-breaking, 26-foot-long poop. In fact, the described size of this colossal bowel movement seems humanly impossible, as the large intestine is only about 5 feet long.

This story about a record-breaking rectum originat

The World's Longest Poop Story Is a Crock of, Well ...

Google "world's longest poop" and the interweb will give you an answer of 26 feet (8 meters). If it seems unbelievable, it's because this "record" is a total crock of ... well, crap.

That ridiculous and sometimes misreported answer was the result of an artistic installation done in Michigan, as it turns out. A Brooklyn, New York-based artist named Michelle Hines created the installation, which was actually made up of a series of hoaxes.

In fact, the supposed 26-foot long poop was "laid out" on a bowling alley lane, complete with measuring devices and earnest photographs in 1995. The artist explained the fake phenomenon by noting that she had "adopted a super fiber-rich diet which allowed me to successfully produce a single extruded excrement measuring the exact length of my colon: 26 feet."

Problem is, not even the Hulk could sport a colon that long. In fact, the average human colon is only 5 feet (150 centimeters) long, from top to bottom.

Don't be too sad about this dump-ster fire of a revelation, however, because the true story of one contender for the world's longest poop reco
