Marlin 1895 Lever Action Rifle From Jurassic World

Chiming back in to you guys.

I just mounted my scope on mine and came to a conundrum. It looked a little high and I realized why …

In the scenes of the movie where the gun is used namely just after the motorcycle ride the high scope mounts are equipt .

while in promotional shots and when the rifle is slung the scope mounts appear to be mid to low scope mounts.

Just as well if you get a scout scope it is actually mounted forward of receiver they moved it back for movie gowers

(my eye piece sits over the ghost ring in stead of over the hammer like in the movie)

Just wanted to make sure people were aware in case they wanted it accurate to when he has it slung.

The high mounts allow you to use the ghost sight fine you might be able to still use them with mid but the low which Is pictured when slung the sights on the rifle would be inoperable.

Enjoy.

Jurassic World: Chris Pratt Really Thought About His Character's Gun

Chris Pratt put some serious thought into which weapon his character would wield in Jurassic World. Acting as both a soft-reboot and a continuation of the original Jurassic Parktrilogy, Jurassic World saw Pratt's character Owen fighting for his life alongside Bryce Dallas Howard and two children after yet another dinosaur-filled theme park suffers an animal breakout. Pratt, Howard, and Pratt's prize velociraptor Blue all reprised their roles for the sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and a third Jurassic World film is reported to be starting production in early 2020.

Although Fallen Kingdom's first half generally acted as a rebooted version of Jurassic Park: The Lost Worldin the same way the first Jurassic World film rehashed many of the plot points from Jurassic Park, the second half went-all out on its dinosaur/cloning action and surprised fans with unexpected twists and a finale which completely changed how the film's universe operates. While many viewers are curious to see what will happen next in the newest Jurassic World sequel, others are looking back at the first film i

Chris Pratt Has A Thoughtful Answer When Fan Questions Jurassic World Plot Point

If you ever find yourself is a situation where dinosaurs are running rampant, naturally it doesn’t hurt to have a firearm on hand for protection. Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady was fortunate enough to be armed during the events of Jurassic World, but four years after that movie’s release, a fan has noted that the gun Owen carries around would not be enough to take down the main prehistoric threat, the Indominus Rex. Pratt responded to said fan with the following:

Owen Grady wields a Marlin Model 1895SBL lever-action rifle in Jurassic World, which is outfitted with a scope and, as Chris Pratt alluded to in his tweet, uses .45-70 rounds. It’s unclear if Pratt just chose this gun all on his own or if it was one of a few selections set before him, but either way, considering Owen’s profession as Jurassic World’s velociraptor handler, it makes sense he’d use that firearm in case one of his raptors starts causing trouble and he can’t talk them down.

Unfortunately, as Chris Pratt admitted, such a gun wouldn’t be that useful against the Indominus Rex, w
