Great Cats World Park

This park is a 5 minute drive from my folks new place and was a delightful way to spend the morning. The animals seemed well cared for and well loved. The enclosures are clean and have a variety of terrain in their enclosures to provide stimulation. The tour guide we had this morning was very knowledgeable about the cats and loved them very much. Unfortunately we didn't get her name, but we did get a photo.

I was honestly reluctant to go here, but my traveling group wanted to check it out. I was afraid I'd see show animals in small spaces and used as tourist bait. Their spaces were pretty big, and it was educational, and you can see how much the owner and handler love these big cats. It was a very cool experience, I'm glad we went.

me and my partner decided to stop here on a whim after our trip to another nearby animal sanctuary. and wow we were blown away, the staff here was knowledgeable- and answered any questions we had on the cats. and the animals all looked super healthy and well cared for. this was honestly the highlight of our trip.

What Our Guests Say

Some of the many comments from the park guest-book

The kids loved being near the animals, much closer than at the Safari or zoo. They had babies! They have the rare cats that are going extinct and they try to conserve them. This is beautiful and wonderful. Rita B

We drove up from Crescent City when we were vacationing there. It was worth every minute in the car with squirmy 5-year olds complaining and the windy roads making me a little carsick! The tour was very personal. We got to see so many cool cats I have never seen and they let everyone pet the baby Tigers!!! Super-awesome!! Must go!! Pay for the guided tour, not the self-tour. The place is twice as big as you can see and they only take you in the back on the guided tour! Pricing very reasonable. Free parking in a big dirt lot, can hold buses or whatever. Jacquie G

This was the BEST! I love your facility and what you do here. Christina is the best, nicest and most knowledgeable guide I've ever had! Thank you for the unforgettable experience!
