Achievements started: Oneshot
In order to get the Oneshot achievement, you need to save the game by putting Niko to bed. ONLY by putting Niko to bed. If you close the game via the X-Button even once, you will not be able to get this achievement in this playthrough.

Note: Any visions mentioned in this guide will only appear in later playthroughs; otherwise, Niko will make note of something, but won't explicitly mention anything. You start off with one theme (purple) and eight wallpapers. At the end of this walkthrough, you should have 10/10 themes, and 24/24 wallpapers.

An attempt to recreate the desktop in OneShot: World Machine Edition in XFCE.
The icon pack is based from Pixelitos and RetroPixel.
Some icons are also provided by @Charpurr (on Twitter).
xfwm4 theme is made by apprehensions (on GitHub).

Make sure to switch your environment to XFCE as the theme only work for that environment.

  • Put the xfwm4-theme folder to ~/.local/share/themes and rename the folder to OneShot (or whatever you want), then select the theme from the Window Manager settings.
  • Put the icon-pack folder to ~/.local/share/icons and rename the folder to OneShot (or something else), then select the icon pack from the Appearances settings.
  • Put the gtk.css file to ~/.config/gtk-3.0 (make sure to backup your gtk.css file if it exists) then log out/restart.
  • Some of the icon might be left unchanged. If you want to change them, you can either use alacarte (or your favorite menu editor) or add the icons manually to the icon pack.
  • Some of the panel items might go over the border (been trying to fix this but to no avail).
  • You may need to adjusts some of the settings for panel and desktop as well, examples like

    Make sure to change your desktop environment to Xfce.

    • Move folder into
    • Log out/Restart
    • Change the fonts in
    • Default font should be ; Monospace font should be
    • Font size should be either 11 or 13

    gtk.css: Panels and Colors

    Not to be confused with the one inside TWM-theme. This file is placed outside any folder, alongside startup.ogg.

    • Go into
    • Make sure to backup the original gtk.css inside the folder, if it exists, before replacing it
    • Move the file to the folder
    • Log out/Restart

    Reconfigure your panel (Settings Manager - Appearance - Panel)

    • Set panel background approach to and set the tint to invisible
    • General icon size and Status icon size should be around 16 to 22

      All Wallpaper Locations

      This guide will show you all of the wallpaper locations that is currently in the game, if you follow everything correctly it should gives you the Wallpaper Wizard achievement.

      The Barrens

      Here are the locations of the wallpapers available in The Barrens:

      • Outpost: At the entrance of The Barrens battery generator room.
      • Factory: Inside the dormitory with two health icons around it. A nurse robot will be inside.

      The Glen

      Here are the locations of the wallpapers available in The Glen:

      • Navigate: In the house at the starting point of The Glen. You should be here after fixing the rusty robot.
      • Courtyard: In the bottom-right corner of Calamus and Alula’s courtyard.
      • Calamus and Alula: After signing your name, it is on the right side. Do not enter the door before collecting it.

      The Refuge
